Glitter Queens Blog Hop Day 3

Hello!  Thanks for hopping this week with the Glitter Queens!!  You should have  arrived from Dee Slater's blog.

When I first received the Occasions Catalog in the mail from Stampin'Up!, Sheltering Tree was on my list first.  Love love love this stamp set.  Here is my card using the stamp set:
So easy to make something so amazing, huh?  I used Calypso Coral for the card base, and Whisper White for the stamping layer. The leaves are stamped using Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Real Red.  Gumball Green was used for the grass and Tuxedo Black was used for the sentiment.
There are so many cute additions to this stamp - a leaf rake, a bicycle, and a swing - really super cute!!!  I will make many more cards using this stamp set.  Drop by sometime to take a look around.

Day 2 of the Glitter Queens Blog Hop

Tuesday, February 17th.

Welcome back to another day of the Glitter Queens blog hop.  Again, you should have come from Dee Slater's blog.  I have the links below for all of us.

Today, I have another favorite from the Occasions Catalog - Indescribable Gift
 I used Stampin'Up!'s blendabilities markers.
It is a shape card I made using the largest oval (and only scalloped) die in the Ovals Framelits.  Here is what the inside looks like:
I used Coastal Cabana for the base card, and paper from the SAB Best Day Ever paper pack cut with the same size scallop oval frame lit, then used  Calypso Coral cut with the next size smaller  Oval framelit and embossed with the Big DOT embossing folder,  The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White paper.  The ribbon is also from the SAB - buttons and ribbons pack.
Another close up of the front:

Glitter Queens Blog Hop Day 1

February 16, 2015

Today kicks off the Glitter Queens blog hop.  For three days, a few of us will be showcasing some of our favorite projects using current Stampin' Up! products.  For my cards, I used new product from the Occasions Catalog.

You should have arrived from Dee Slater's blog.  If you  missed it or came in from someone else's blog, here is the line up.
Dawn Griffith
Jennifer Kay
 Dee Slater
Sue - that's me.
Tracy Bradley
Kris Miller

First up is the card I made for my son's 17th birthday:

One of my MOST favorite new stamps sets is the "Wood You Be Mine" from the Occasions Catalog.  I thought of Christian right away who would LOVE to have a beard like this fellow has....

Here is a better close up:

I used the SAB stamp set, Big Day, the paper from the Occasions catalog, Adventure Bound, the banner is from the Balloons framelits also from the Occasions catalog.  Very faintly on the paper, you will see the number 17 - that is from the Larger Than Life stamp set.  I stamped it boldly on the inside.

Thank you for visiting today.  This is my first time hopping and as you can see from my blog, I am not a very active blogger, but hope to change this as I participate in more hops and challenges in the future.  Please stop by Tracy Bradley's website

See you tomorrow!!!

It's not quite berry picking season, but I couldn't resist these darling little strawberries made using Stampin'Up!'s dsp.  The berry basket die is in the Occasions Catalog - one of my top 10's from the catalog.  I will be sharing some of my other favorites during a Glitter Queens blog hop starting Monday, February 16th.

Set of cards for a gift....

These cards were made using kraft cardstock and a paper pack from Oriental Trading -who knew you could get "cool beans" paper from OT! The stamps are StampTV or Fiskars.

Spring Cards

Happy Easter Chick

This is a card I made using a chick card from Joann's $1.00 bin. I cut the bottom of the egg to fit a standard A2 card and then embossed it with the Swiss Dots folder. Happy Easter came from the $1.00 bin at Michaels.

Daffodil Card

Used Walk in My Garden Cricut cartridge for this card. The cardstock is DCWV and stamp is Stampin'Up! I embossed the stems and leaves.

Pickup Card

This card idea came right from the 2010-2011 Stampin Up! catalog! Love this set. The paper is Memory makers.

Love you a Latte!

Monique Griffith designed this card. She is an amazing card designer who has now retired. She is selling her designs and this card was taken from the Just Because series for Cricut. LOVE this cartridge.

Last of my Easter Blessings Cards

Again, Stampin Up! stamps. The embossing folder is by Cuttlebug - it's one of their 5x7 ones.

Easter Blessings 2

This card also uses Easter Blessings from Stampin Up! The cross was also theirs - the name of that stamp set is escaping me now. I will add it when I go back to my craft space.

Easter Blessings

This card was made using the Because I Care stamp set from Stampin Up! The card base and purple dotted paper were from my stash. The image was stamped on PaperTrey ink's white heavy weight cardstock.

This card was made for a friend of mine, Amy, for her 40th. The paper is DCWV, and a Martha Stewart punch. The "A" is from Cricut Cartridge Storybook.

This paint can was decorated using a couple different Cricut cartridges.  The paper come from Michael's, but reminds me of Anna Griffith paper.
